BMBA Cubs Program
The BMBA runs a program each year for those players in our U10 Competition who are identified as having some good basic skills, which the BMBA believe would be enhanced with personalised and consistent coaching.
These players are identified by the Clubs initially and then a BMBA sub-committee takes the opportunity to watch them play over a few Saturdays and then makes its decision on who should be invited. The BMBA then invites a certain number of both Boys and Girls to participate in this (6) week intensive skill development Cubs Program.
This program is run in September each year and has proven to be a great success with a large number of these players going on to attend the VJBL try-out sessions, which are normally in October each year.
Even with the COVID 19 interruptions over the past years it has well and truly proven its worth and the BMBA will continue this same program each year.
