The BMBA is committed to working with all those interested in Coaching within one of the BMBA's many competitions, by establishing a high-quality Coaching education program to ensure we provide support, quality material re skill and game education resources for all those interested in becoming a game day Coach.
In this regard, please see the initial video and training documentation in this section, all designed to support and help you improve your knowledge/capacity to teach better basketball skill and technique.
Regular Coaches information nights are also run throughout a normal season and as such, there will be ample opportunity via BMBA Course and Certified Basketball Victoria Courses to ensure your knowledge continues to grow in line with your aims.
We all begin our Coaching as Domestic Coach at a Club Junior team level and from there hopefully progress our skill set to one day maybe take on a BMBA Representative team or go even further with the many Senior levels of elite basketball available to Coaches today.
Please note: All those who undertake any Junior Coaching activities and will be in the company of minors when coaching, are required to supply a valid Working With Children’s Check.
Now if you have a specific need you think has not been addressed in any of the BMBA information/videos shown, please email us below so we can organise a catch up to discuss same.
