CBL 2023: NEW Venue for Lions Home Games

The CBL season is all ready to kick off starting Saturday night (7 Oct at 6pm), with both Men’s and Women’s teams playing Melton at Cobblebank Stadium!

Further, the BMBA is excited to advise all our Members that we have secured St Francis College basketball stadium in Melton for all our upcoming CBL home games this season.

With the new BM Stadium now not being available until next year, we all agreed that the BM Leisure Centre could not accommodate and/or cater for the type of game spectacle that we wish to provide in support of our members and the teams when playing at home.

FYI, St Francis has seating for 1000 (so we will definitely need you there) and the change rooms and admin facilities to make each home game something special.

Likewise, the BMBA will announce next week the creation of a BMBA ROAR Club (separate flyer to follow) providing reserved seating and other fun things, so as an Association we want you to join and be there to make some noise, when our teams are at home.

Now please note, the address for St Francis is 109-141 Bulmans Rd, Melton West, and we look forward to filling the 1000 seating capacity at our 1st home game on Saturday 21 October 2023.

Finally, we are extremely excited to get things really happening for our CBL teams this season and once you get to see them play, you will agree this will be a season to really be excited and enjoy!
