Special General Meeting Announcement

Notice is hereby given that a Special General Meeting of Bacchus Marsh Basketball Association Incorporated will be held as follows:

Time: 7.30pm 
Location: MARC Stadium, 23A Taverner St, Maddingley VIC 3340

AGENDA
Special Resolution:

That the Bacchus Marsh Basketball Association (Association) adopt new Rules, under the recommendation of Basketball Victoria, based on its Constitution Template, in place of the Association’s current rules (the Model Rules).

This special resolution will be passed if at least three-quarters (75%) of members voting (in-attendance or by proxy) vote in favour, as required by the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012 (Vic).

The proposed constitution has been developed at the direction of Basketball Victoria to ensure compliance and best practice.

Each member shall be entitled to appoint another member as his/her proxy by notice given to the secretary no later than 24 hours before the time of the meeting in respect of which the proxy is appointed.
