As part of our aim moving forward, to improve the standard of all BMBA basketball competitions played, the BMBA have decided with the full support of all BMBA Club’s, to reintroduce its Compulsory Certified Basic Coaching Course for all Under 8 and Under 10 Coaches.
Commencing as of the upcoming Summer Season for 22/23, any person wanting to Coach in the U8 or U10 age group will be required to hold this Certification.
This Level ‘0’ course will be run over the final (2) weeks of this current season, allowing all Current and new coaches the opportunity to complete the required Certification in preparation for next season.
Those Coaches who do not achieve their certification will not be allowed to Coach in the U8 or U10 BMBA Competitions.
The BMBA will be running (4) x 1.0 hour Certification Sessions over (2) consecutive weeks as shown below, to achieve BMBA certification a Coach must attend at least (2) of these sessions.
The (4) Session dates are as follows:
- Tue 23rd Aug 22 7.30 – 8.30pm St Bernard’s Primary School

Finally, should any person wishing to gain Certification be unable to attend the (2) days required or have any specific problems or just questions relating to this program, please speak directly to Matt Canty on 0406 148 361.
