Lions Roar in Bendigo!

Well done to all our Lions Teams that competed in the Bendigo Junior Classic.
The Bendigo Junior Classic was held over the Australia Day weekend and as usual, it had a bit of everything! Hot days, referee shortages and some great basketball!
Thanks to all the coaches and team managers for your ongoing efforts, and to the parents for your commitment to get players to games.
The U14 girls qualified for the grand final in Division 1 before being beaten by Yarra-Mul Lakers by 1 point. Fantastic effort girls!
The U14.1 boys narrowly won their quarter final in Division 1 by 1 point before being defeated by 1 point in the semi final.
The U12 girls, U14.2 boys and U16.1 boys were beaten in quarter finals, with the 16.1 boys going down in overtime against local rivals Sunbury.
The U12 girls, U14.1 boys, U14.2 boys, U14 girls and U16.1 boys all played finals in their divisions.
